??? 廣州林業從上世紀80年代以木材生產為主的傳統林業、90年代以造林種果、分類經營為主的城郊型林業，逐步向現階段以服務城市生態建設為主、體現“以人為本”理念的現代林業轉變。

　　2004年9月，廣州市林業局委托中國林科院牽頭編制全國首個林業概念規劃，確定“生態優先、以人為本、林水結合、城鄉一體”的建設原則，明確發展生態林業、人文林業、多效林業，建設森林城市的目標，提出“一城三地五極七帶多點”的林業格局。

　　近年來，廣州市林業局還引進“項目林業”概念，將林業建設內容整合成一個個服務城市發展要求的具體工程項目，其中，有服務“綠色亞運”的青山綠地工程、服務濱海城市的沿海防護林和濕地工程、服務新農村綠色家園的鎮村綠化工程、服務城市生態公益林和森林災害防控工程、服務林農增產增收的特色林業生產工程等，以大項目的實施帶動林業的大發展，實現城市生態水平的大提升。

■Guangzhou Forest Industry

　　Guangzhou Forest Industry has undergone a series of transformations in its history of development, from the traditional forest industry focusing on wood production in the 1980's to the suburban-type forest industry indulging in afforestation and planting of fruit trees in the 1990's, and again to today's modern forest industry centered around serving the ecological construction of the city and incarnating the current "People First" concept.

　　In September 2004, the Chinese Academy of Forestry, entrusted by the Guangzhou Forestry Bureau (GFB), worked out together with the local government the first forestry concept plan in China. The plan put forward the construction principle of "Putting Ecology and people's interest as top priority, bringing forests and waters into good combination and building through unified planning of the urban and rural areas"; made clear the aim of developing ecological forestry, humanistic forestry, multi-effects forestry and construction of forest city; put forward a new forest layout that caters for the overall development of the industry in the whole area of Guangzhou.

　　In recent years, a new concept of "Project Industry" has been introduced by the GFB to change the development of forestry industry into many service projects.? For example, the green mountain and land project serving the needs of the green Asian Games, the coastal protection forest and the wetland project for the coastal city, the virescence project in rural areas for building up green homes for the villagers, the ecological forest project for the city, the project to prevent and fight again st forest fires, and other special forestry production projects for increasing the productions of agriculture and forestry, etc. The implementation of these projects will propel the development of forestry industry and upgrade the city's ecological level.
